The Treelawn stage exploded with the sounds of some of the best local talent in Cleveland, but not without an exceptional support team. Suma Recording Studio and Treelawn staff on sound with Ryan Laubenthal on video, brought together a show that will reverberate off the shores of Lake Erie for days. With the support of Cleveland Rocks: Past, Present, and Future, the CLE Records showcase was a mini-music fest that brought diverse talents together in a resonant collision of style and spirit. Once again proving that live music is the vital shock that can resuscitate the city’s nervous system.

Jim will be speaking at Visible Voice Books for their Drop the Needle series on Thursday, September 17, 2026. At this community listening experience Jim will be discussing an album by Cleveland legends Pere Ubu with their experimental sound and undeclared influence on the world of rock in the 1970s. Then he and the audience will listen to it together. So come by for this free event that starts at 6PM and relive some local sonic history.
Live shows are what drive us here at CLE. If you missed our showcase on the 27th then you should be on the lookout for our video edits that will be coming soon to our Youtube channel. We’ll be sure to update you here as soon as they’re available.
In the mean time, we have some incredible new work from our artists being mixed by the guys at Suma. We’re almost ready to press some new vinyl for you.
